Please see the up to date event schedule for current events

This competition provides an opportunity for producers to evaluate the merits of their beef production program.  Interest in carcass traits can be used to select sires within a breed, which can increase marbling score or tenderness of beef.

Please note: This competition is only open to steers entered and shown in the Junior Steer Classic at the Calgary Stampede. All entries are bound by the rules of the Junior Steer Classic as well as the Quality Beef Competition.
