For students in Grades 6 to 9

Farm Safety Day welcomes Grade 6 to 9 classes to attend this FREE day of learning aimed at enhancing students’ awareness and understanding of rural and farm safety. Students, teachers and parent chaperones will have access to interactive activities and information stations on a variety of topics including equipment safety, working with electricity,  first aid and more.

In addition, this year’s Farm Safety Day will be full of many NEW and impactful stations for students, including the CASA BeGrainSafe trailer, a rollover simulator, ATV safety and Livestock handling. Even if you’ve been here in the past, we promise to have new and exciting learnings for your students!

  • This is a free event offered to Grade 6 to 9 classes across Alberta
  • Pre-registration is required to secure your spot
  • Funding is available to assist with bussing cost

Please note, to ensure student safety and quality programming, we will be limiting the number of participants; therefore, all schools must register by March 9. The registration form will be received and processed on a first come first served basis.

Building awareness of farm safety is essential to keeping our rural youth and families safe. Funding is available to those schools that require it, to help cover the transportation costs associated with bussing students to and from Stampede Park. We thank AltaLink and Cervus for their support in making this possible.
